    My suggestions refers to uvcvideo compilation, not to r5u87x. However, pheraps you must increase image's resolution. Try with cheese.

    Go to /uvcvideo/v4l/ directory and edit file colled .config replacing
    CONFIG_DVB_FIREDTV=m
    with
    CONFIG_DVB_FIREDTV=n
    You can use gedit.

    [ubuntu] Re: printing with Canon Pixma MP560

    probably the aforementioned library is 64-bit. So replace it with 32 bits one that were previously extracted.

    This time we use gksu nautilus instead of the mv command :)

    I do not understand why. :(

    Now you give:

    gksu nautilus

    and you browser into /usr/lib32/ and checks for libgimp-2.0.so.0.600 and libgimp-2.0.so.0.

    [ubuntu] Re: printing with Canon Pixma MP560

    You have made a mistake and you have copied the whole package to /usr/lib32 and so the result is this:

    /usr/lib32/usr/lib/libgimp-2.0.so.0
    /usr/lib32/usr/lib/libgimp-2.0.so.0.600.7

    Sorry, my fault, the command is wrong. The correct one is

    Hi!
    I have your same problem. That I think the blame is the use of drivers in our system 64 bit.
    In fact, here is the response of the terminal:
